Farmers RECC announces scholarship winners

GLASGOW, Ky. – Farmers RECC is announcing eight recipients of its $1,000 scholarship.

Every year, Farmers RECC awards the scholarship to support higher education for students whose families or themselves are cooperative members.

Thee scholarships are used for tuition, fees, campus housing, textbooks and other educational supplies related to the recipient’s academic goals.

This year’s Farmers RECC scholarship recipients are:

  • Addison McCoy, daughter of Frankie and Melissa McCoy of Glasgow.
  • Benjamin Shirely, son of Matt and Autumn Shirely of Edmonton.
  • Brenan Griffin, son of Chad and Melissa Griffin of Munfordville.
  • Brody Hurt, son of Josh and Deena Hurt of Edmonton.
  • Dylan Wright, son of Chris and Michelle Wright of Munfordville.
  • Emma-Kate Smith, daughter of Brent and Julie Smith of Glasgow.
  • Logan Boone, son of Anthony and Christina Boone of Magnolia.
  • Tinsley Neagle, daughter of Troy and Amy Neagle of Glasgow.

By investing in the future of local students, Farmers RECC says aims to not only support individual members but also strengthen the communities it serves.
