UPDATE: Child and mother located after endangered child alert out of Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A child has been found after an endangered child alert was issued for a 5-year-old out of Nashville, Tennessee.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department says Solomon White Jr., 5, was taken by his mother, Janelle Burns, 31, on Friday, Nov. 8. Police say both have since been found at a Dickerson Pike apartment.

Police say the alert last week occurred in the midst of a Department of Child Services investigation.

MNPD is assisting DCS in their investigation into the child’s welfare.
