Emergency preparedness event to be hosted at SOKY Center

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Families are invited to an upcoming event to learn more about being prepared for emergency situations.

The Warren County Public Library is teaming up with the Barren River District Health Department to host an emergency preparedness series.  The event starts Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Families can gather inside of the SOKY Center to gain the tools and knowledge needed to respond in the event of an emergency.

Attendance at session 1 on Sept. 9 and session 2 on Sept. 16 are required to attend session 3 on Sept. 23, where participants will build a free emergency preparedness kit.

The final session date is Sept. 30.
