Elizabethtown man arrested on sodomy charges

 A Elizabethtown man is being charged with first degree sodomy.

WLKY is reporting that 24 year old Ernest Wilson III,  is accused of sexually assaulting an 8 year old boy in his Elizabethtown home in June. Wilson told investigators that he accidentally committed the crime and that he was asleep and accidentally mistook the child for his girlfriend.

Wilson is being held on a 50-thousand dollar cash bond, and he is set to appear in court this morning.
