Edmonson County burn ban lifted

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – A burn ban has been lifted in Edmonson County following recent dry conditions in the area.

According to an executive order signed Monday by Edmonson County judge executive Ronald Scott Lindsey, the ban is lifted effective Sept. 8.

The order states the ban is lifted due to rainfall.

All citizens are still asked to be cautious with all outdoor controlled burns.
