Eat Play Stay comes to Bowling Green!

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Encouraging tourism one town at a time, “Very Local” streaming service’s Eat Play Stay is highlighting Bowling Green, KY this fall.

Eat Play Stay is a series that gives travelers some ideas when exploring a new city with their motto, “live like a local anywhere”. The show throws out some places to eat, lodge at, and activities to do while you’re in town and Bowling Green will hit the internet in the cooler months.

News 40 caught them showing off Big Al’s Hot Damn Chicken on the square this afternoon, asking Al their own set of questions and showing off his colorful truck while peddling out some plate’s for those on the square looking for lunch. News 40 on the backend asked Al about his experience with the series, who said he was “humbled that my truck could be a part of it”.

Of course we couldn’t leave without asking him, why hot chicken? To which he said he had worked in kitchens since 15 years old and always wanted his own truck, and being so close to Nashville and trying their regional delicacy a few times, he wanted to share that love back home.
