Earth Day Community Ride by BikeWalk BG

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In Wheldon Peete Park, BikeWalk BG, an organization geared toward getting the community up and active is planning an event.

BikeWalk BG is hosting a community wide bike ride in the park at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 for bikers to attend. News 40 spoke to Natasha Smith, a coordinator with the organization, who said the ride would be perfect for those who just want to get out for a short while and celebrate Earth Day in a fitting way.

Of course BikeWalk BG is a community organization and free to all, Smith just asked that those who plan to participate pre-register at their website for attendance purposes but for those who don’t, Smith said to show up at 8:30 a.m.
