Early voting sees increase for 2024 primary election

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Early voting numbers are up for the 2024 primary election.
According to an X posted by Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams, 75,204 voters turned out for the no-excuse early voting dates on Thursday, May 16, Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, 2024. This total is up from the 72,754 no-excuse early voters for the 2023 Kentucky general election.
The 2024 Kentucky primary election day is Tuesday, May 21.
75,204 Kentuckians took advantage of no-excuse early voting in this primary election, up from 72,754 in May 2023. Like last year, most early voters were Republicans, but there’s nothing political about choosing the voting method most convenient for you.
