BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This summer, a longtime Bowling Green tradition is making a comeback.

Duncan Hines Days, a multi-day festival celebrating local culinary heritage, will return June 5 through 11 with a modern twist. Events will take place throughout Bowling Green and Warren County during National Restaurant Week.

During this time, southern Kentucky’s best foods and drinks, entertainment and travel will be showcased.

Duncan Hines was born and raised in Bowling Green. Hines, a WKU alumni, traveled the country and created published works of the places he dined in and stayed at along the way, according to The City of Bowling Green.

On Oct. 15, the community is invited to a free Duncan Hines Days Launch Party. The event will last from 7 to 10 p.m. at Gasper Brewing, offering a look at the most recent roadmap of Duncan Hines Days events. Food trucks and live music will also add to the night.
