DSSKY hosts 6th annual Pre-Derby Gala

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With the Kentucky Derby right around the corner, Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky kicked off the celebrations with its 6th annual Pre-Derby Gala on Friday evening.

The event offered an evening full of food, fun, live music, and a silent auction. The highlight of the night was a special art auction featuring paintings created by the organization’s buddies.

All proceeds from the gala go toward supporting the Buddy House, as DSSKY continues working toward its goal of building a new, expanded facility to better serve the community.
