DSSKY holds car parade for Step Up for Down Syndrome
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 22nd annual Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, previously known as the Buddy Walk, is the biggest annual fundraiser for Down Syndrome of South Central Kentucky.
This year, it was held as a car parade outside of Living Hope Baptist Church on Saturday.
Typically this event draws in nearly 2,000 people, but with COVID-19, there were some logistical changes to keep the event smaller and safer.
Of course, there was still lots of fanfare with decorated floats, cheering crowds, and an award ceremony.
The event raised thousands of dollars for DSSKY.
