Drug Task Forces arrest woman on drug trafficking charges in Scottsville

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A woman faces drug charges following an investigation by local law enforcement in Allen County.
The Scottsville Police Department says it worked with the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, Warren County Drug Task Force, and Kentucky State Police to obtain an arrest warrant at the home of Megan T. Sequeira on Tuesday.
The home is located at 529 Old Port Oliver Road.
SPD says detectives discovered 144 grams of suspected methamphetamine, other suspected narcotics, US currency, suspected marijuana, and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
Sequeira was served the warrant and is charged with trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance 1st degree – drug unspecified, persistent felony offender, and possession of marijuana.
Sequeira was arrested and was lodged at the Allen County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
