Drivers testing reopening soon

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The wait is almost over for 16-year-olds and others patiently waiting to take their drivers tests in Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police announced that the drivers testing branch will begin scheduling appointments for road tests on July 1.

Tests had been put on hold due to COVID-19 with permit testing re-opening in some counties two weeks ago.

According to Kentucky State Trooper Daniel Priddy, the agency’s reopening process is still ongoing.

If you need to brush up on the information before your test, all driver test materials are on the Kentucky State Police website.
