The fleeing vehicle then turned left onto Saint Anthony Road before turning right onto Peonia Road.

The officer, who was joined in the pursuit by an additional Leitchfield unit, lost sight of the vehicle. However, not long after, the officer saw the vehicle leave the roadway, travel through a yard and crash into a large garage in the 10100 block of Peonia Road.

The driver, a male, ran from the scene into a dark wooded area.

Additional units arrived on scene, including the Grayson County Sheriff’s office, Hart County Sheriff’s Office, Wax Fire Department and EMS.

A Hart County deputy used a drone to conduct a search for the suspect, however, the driver was not found.

The investigation is ongoing.
