Driver allegedly crashes into home, vehicle in Caneyville

CANEYVILLE, Ky. (K105) – A driver allegedly left the scene after striking a home and vehicle in Caneyville.
According to WNKY News 40 media partner K105, Grayson County deputies responded Wednesday around 9:10 p.m. to the 300 block of South Main Street.
K105 reports that upon arrival, police located a GMC Safari van that had exited the road and entered an embankment before it jumped a driveway. The van then hit a Toyota Highlander and a house.
A person inside of the home briefly made contact with the male driver before the driver fled the scene on foot, according to K105.
Deputies then searched for the suspect for over an hour, however, K105 states they were not able to locate him.
The home and vehicle that was struck reportedly sustained moderate damage. The occupant was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
