Drive up for Down Syndrome event a success

BOWLING GREEN Ky.-Members of a specific non-profit are still celebrating the turnout of an event that took place at the National Corvette Museum over the weekend.
Drive up for Down Syndrome had participants revved up for a great cause. The car and vendor show took place on Saturday, and it’s held to support the organization down syndrome of South-Central Kentucky.
The event featured a plethora of cars from different time periods, a wide variety of vendors, and plenty of options for food trucks. Community members from all over came to show support for the organization.
DSSKY president of the junior board Samantha O’Leary says she’s thankful for everyone who came out and supported the mission.
“All the money goes towards our organization, towards our classes that our members participate in and activities and facilities and things like that,” O’leary said.
