Drive Toward a Cure for Parkinson’s Disease returns to NCM Motorsports Park

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Several Kentuckians came out to the NCM Motorsports Park for a drive.

However, it wasn’t all just for fun but there was an important cause behind it.

From 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the NCM Motorsports Park is the Drive Toward a Cure event.

The purpose behind the full day of touring lapping is to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease.

Deb Pollack from Los Angeles created Drive Toward a Cure after losing her mother in 2006 to the disease.

Pollack brings the event to Bowling Green due to the city’s passion for automobiles.

The funds raised from today’s event will go directly towards research and patient care.

Aside from finances, Pollack says the event encourages safer driving, knowing there could be other drivers with Parkinson’s disease.

This is the second year for Drive Toward a Cure at the NCM Motorsports Park.
