Fant Dream Big Camp returns, gives kids professional sports experience
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Yesterday was the first day of the Dream Big Camp at Warren Central High School.
It’s hosted by the Fant Foundation, created by a former WKU basketball player, George Fant, and his wife, Chastity Fant, whom he met at WKU.
The camp is free for all kids from third through twelfth grade. They also provide a free meal for everyone involved. This is an opportunity for kids to practice and play against professional NFL players from across the country.
“Yeah, I get a lot of messages from kids that come to the camps, but I also keep an eye on them, so, you know, guys that we have been having at our camp have been playing high school sports, and we are gonna keep an eye on them all the way up to college. You know, we wanna keep an impact on them doing different things in our foundation. We would love to have a scholarship fund at some point so we can help some of these kids get from different divisions and to get to D1,” said George Fant.
Tomorrow is the last day to show off your moves at the camp, which goes from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Warren Central High School.
