Drainage improvement project set to close I-165 lanes in Butler County

BUTLER COUNTY – A roadway project will create lane closures in Butler County.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says a drainage improvement project on Interstate 165 in Butler County is expected to begin Monday.

Lanes from the Warren County and Butler County line to mile marker 31 will be closed during daytime hours.

KYTC says the project will improve drainage, and crews will conduct maintenance on drainage pipes.

Crews will work in the northbound direction first.

Once completed, the crews will work on the southbound direction.

KYTC says the project will take up to two months to complete.
