Downtown clock moves to Warren County Courthouse

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The old Warren County Courthouse is getting brand new addition to it’s entrance.

The iron Seth Thomas clock, which hasn’t functioned for over a decade, was moved to the courthouse from its original location on State Street where it stood for 40 years.

As of now, the clock in front of the courthouse will be worked on for roughly a month before it’s operational.

Warren County Judge-Executive Mike Buchanon said it’s a nice addition.

“It has historical significance and it’s part of the landscape. It’s a true landmark for the people of Bowling Green and Warren County.,” Buchanon said.

The Bowling Green Rotary Club will be installing a new clock at the old location on State Street. It’s expected to be up and running by the end of September.
