Downtown businesses launch ‘Share the Square’ parking campaign

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A new parking campaign has launched for downtown Bowling Green.

According to Downtown BGKY, businesses in the downtown area have started the Share the Square campaign.

The aim of the movement is to make parking spaces more accessible for small businesses and customers.

Officials say this means if you plan to park on Fountain Square for more than two hours, you would be encouraged to see a guide of parking alternatives and examples of free parking signs to free up space.
