Downtown Bowling Green gets in the Christmas spirit

BOWLING GREEN Ky.- At 5 .m. Friday, downtown Bowling Green was filled with Christmas lights stretching from Fountain Square to Circus Square Park. Due to the pandemic, this celebration

will look different than in years past.

Instead, Santa will make his appearance downtown where the citizens of Bowling Green can see him from afar. Residents are also encouraged to drive by City Hall to meet elected officials, in addition to receiving a Christmas goodie bag.

Inside this goodie bag will be an ornament, calendar, mask and candy cane.

This Christmas themed event will go on from 5 to 8 p.m.
