Local theatre accepting canned food donations at film festival

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Capitol Theatre and 7 Mountains Media will host a Canned Film Festival.

At no cost, guests can watch two films and are encouraged to bring donation items. These items will benefit the State Street United Methodist Church Food Pantry.

On June 14, “Jurassic Park (1993)” will screen at 6 p.m. “Twister (1996)” will begin at 8 p.m.

Recommended donation items include canned goods, cereal, mac and cheese, chips, crackers and cookies.
