Dog agility competition in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Ruff Agility organized a canine obstacle course Friday in Bowling Green.

The dogs had hoops and tunnels to run through and bars to jump over.

The dogs are expected to respond to their owners’ commands on a course they are not familiar with.

Both their humans and the dogs seemed to be having a blast Friday afternoon.

“We come out here and play with our best friend, we play as a team, we train as a team, and even though it doesn’t always go as planned, it’s OK, it’s a lot of fun, it doesn’t matter,” said Charlyn Leffew, president of Ruff Agility of Kentucky.

The event continues throughout the weekend from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Western Kentucky University Ag Expo Center on Elrod Road.
