DEVLEOPING: Human remains found in Jessamine County

JESSAMINE Co., Ky.- The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office says human remains were found Friday afternoon. The sheriff’s office says two hikers in the Indian Falls area found what appeared to be human remains around 3 P.M. The Sheriff’s Office, along with the Nicholasville Police Department, responded to Brumfield Lane, where the two hikers guided them to the site. The remains were sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort but haven’t been identified. However, the remains have been confirmed to be that of an adult male. Police say they’ve received two reports of missing males in Jessamine County, but until they hear back from the coroner’s office, they cannot confirm an identity.
