DEVELOPING: Vehicle fire closes portion of I-65

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. – WNKY News 40 is hearing reports of a car hauler carrying electric vehicles catching fire near the 34 mile marker of I-65 north bound

According to the scanner multiple electric vehicles were fully engulfed and traffic was being stopped due to the fire.

Until the scene is clear, drivers are asked to avoid the area.
