Deputies searching for escaped Kentucky murder suspect

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. – Deputies are searching for a Kentucky man who they say escaped while awaiting trial for murder.
Samuel Baker, 24, of Somerset, Kentucky, is a suspect in the 2021 shooting death of Robert Claunch in Faubush, Kentucky, authorities say.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says Baker was provided a bond reduction in August while awaiting trial before being placed on home incarceration with an ankle monitor.
Early Wednesday morning, the sheriff’s office says Baker removed his ankle monitor and left his home on Highway 39 in Somerset. Baker’s initial suspect vehicle has since been located in northern Pulaski County without him, deputies say.
The sheriff’s office says Baker is believed to be in the company of Adriana Brown, 28, in a 2016 black Dodge Grand Caravan.
According to authorities, Baker is believed to be armed and dangerous.
If you see Baker or know his location, do not approach. Call 911 and report the information to authorities.
