Deputies capture prison escapee in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Warren County Sheriff’s deputies captured an escaped inmate early Saturday morning at 1976 H.E. Johnson Road after receiving a call about a suspicious person at that address.

Wednesday, Charles Pedigo, 44, of Scottsville, escaped from the Green River Correctional Complex where he was serving a 29-year sentence on assault charges.

Deputies captured him Saturday morning without incident and he was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
