Delafield Neighborhood Picnic aims to gather community on June 21

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Delafield Neighborhood Group is organizing a special event to bring the community together and encourage open dialogue — the Delafield Neighborhood Picnic.

Residents are invited to participate, share ideas and help shape the future of their neighborhood. Longtime resident Joyce Tann emphasized the importance of listening to the community, saying, “We want them to tell us what they would like. Our ideas may not be what they want.”

The group hopes the picnic will be a space where all voices are heard.

By involving residents directly, the Delafield community aims to foster growth not just locally but across the city.

“There’s more things coming. More houses and sidewalks,” Tann said. “It’s just a lot of things getting ready to happen over here, and I’m excited about it.”

The Delafield Neighborhood Picnic will take place June 21 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Miracle Life Center in Bowling Green.
