Daycare coming to Bowling Green High School
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Among the things tied to the teacher shortage in Kentucky, Bowling Green Independent School District has made a move to address a concern of many Kentuckians.
Next fall, BGISD’s high school will be providing daycare services to employees in a facility run by Warren County’s branch of Community Education. News 40 swung by Bowling Green High School to hear about this new development from Superintendent Gary Fields.
Fields said it will not only provide some relief to teachers both present and future who struggle with childcare, it serves as a way for students to gain experience in the world of childcare.
