Dawson Springs junior dies in hunting accident

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. – The Dawson Springs Independent School System is mourning the loss of a student.

Superintendent Lenny Whalen issued a letter to the community stating that Aden McKinney, a junior at Dawson Springs High School, was killed in a hunting accident on Saturday morning.

Whalen offered his condolences to McKinney’s family, friends, and classmates.

Counselors and support staff will be available for students and faculty, according to the letter.
