Daniel Cameron shares message about bid for U.S. Senate

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Former Kentucky attorney general Daniel Cameron has shared a statement regarding his intentions for U.S. Senate.
Cameron released the following statement on Thursday, March 20, according to Cameron for Senate Inc.:
“Friend,”
“My two words for you are this…thank you!
“I’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support since launching my campaign for U.S. Senate. It tells me that God is good, and that people know He’s not yet done with our great country.
“President Trump’s America First Agenda is barreling forward, but my fear is that the pieces are not yet in place to cement it into law.
“He needs more partners in the U.S. Senate to stand with him, shoulder to shoulder, no excuses.
“I’m ready to do just that, but that means making a real statement with this launch.
“We only get one bite at this announcement apple, and we’re not yet where we want to be.
“If you’re able to chip in before the day is up, I’d greatly appreciate it.”
This follows Cameron’s post on X that appeared to launch his Senate bid last month.
Cameron shared the post the same day it was announced Sen. Mitch McConnell will not be seeking reelection in 2026.
News 40 will continue to provide further updates as they are released.
