Dance Big Red raises $71,780 for Norton Children’s Hospital

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Western Kentucky University’s Dance Big Red 2019 is in the books. This year The 12-hour dance marathon raised $71,780 for Norton Children’s Hospital.

Many campus organizations, along with the Bowling Green community collected money for the past few months to help achieve this goal

The night included dancing, cornhole, basketball and many more activities to keep you up and moving all night long. Local eateries stopped by to provide the extra sugar rush the participants needed to keep dancing all night long.

Families, WKU athletes and members of the community stopped by throughout the night to show their support for the event.

All the money raised will be donated to Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville to help with research expenses and other costs to help save children’s lives.
