Cultivate Kindness celebrates son’s life
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local family is celebrating the life of two lost loved ones by helping better the community.
Cultivate Kindness was created by the Loid family after they lost their daughter McKenzi to a drunk driver.
This past spring, they also lost their son Tommy after a horse back riding accident.
Earlier this week, they celebrated his life by doing a butterfly release at the courthouse where he got married 7 years ago. They then distributed Bibles, belts and boots to Victory Lane Sober Living.
Tonight, in honor of Tommy’s birthday, they are providing free carriage rides for the public downtown. Tommy drove the same horse carriages for many nights and they wish to carry on his legacy.
