Crews working multiple power outages across local area

SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY – Utility crews have responded to multiple power outages throughout the viewing area Wednesday night.

8:01 p.m.

Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation states it is responding to Butler County near Highway 79.

Utility officials say rising water is affecting their ability to fix broken poles.

However, crews are working to restore power.

8:30 p.m.

Warren RECC states one outage alone affected 452 customers in the Annetta Road area.

10:20 p.m.

Warren RECC’s outage map indicates 331 customers in Butler County are without power, while 67 are affected in Simpson County, 34 are affected in Warren County and 43 are affected in Edmonson County.

Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation indicates 243 customers without power in Barren County, along with 197 in Hart County and 137 in Metcalfe County.

Crews continue to work outages.
