Crash in Barren County closes roadway

BARREN COUNTY – First responders are at the scene of a crash in Barren County.

Glasgow/Barren County Emergency Management says Scottsville Road at the Allen County bridge is closed following a car accident, according to a social media post.

GBCEM says motorists should seek an alternate route.

According to the release, the length of the closure is unknown.

Kentucky State Police is on the scene.

Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker confirms that two vehicles were involved.

Parker says six individuals have been transported for injury treatment, and air evac was also requested to the scene.
