Craig finishes Day One in East Lansing

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Lady Topper junior Catie Craig finished the first round of the NCAA Women’s Golf Regional in East Lansing on Monday afternoon.

Craig posted a 5-over 77 in the opening round of the Regional. Throughout the day, she met par 12 times and put in a birdie on her eighth hole.

The Lady Topper is currently tied for 51st heading into Tuesday’s second round. She is currently four shots out of being in the top-30 in the field.

Craig is in an immensely talented field and will be looking to gain ground in tomorrow’s round. The top individual, not on an advancing team, will advance to the NCAA Championship in California.
