CPSC issues warning for infant walkers sold on Amazon

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning customers to stop using a brand of infant walkers sold on Amazon due to a risk of falls and entrapment.
According to CPSC, the Comfi Baby Infant Walkers violate federal safety regulations since they fit through through a standard doorway, are not designed to stop at the edge of a step and have leg openings where a child can slip down until their head is trapped.
The infant walkers were sold on Amazon.com from October 2022 to March 2023 for $100, according to CPSC.
The products should be thrown away. The seller, All Merchandise, of Charlotte, North Carolina, is no longer in business to offer a remedy to customers.
Those who purchased the product will receive a notice directly.
