Coronavirus cases continue to climb in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Governor Andy Beshear in his daily coronavirus briefing announced 184 new cases over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the commonwealth to 4,539 .

In addition, 10 new deaths to report today as 235 Kentuckians have now died due to the virus.

A total of 1,668 individuals have recovered from the virus, and Beshear also confirmed 54,101 tests have been administered.

Here in the WNKY viewing area numbers took another big jump in Warren County as 39 new positive cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 319 individuals have now tested positive for COVID-19 in Warren County.

Additional cases were also reported in Butler, Edmonson, Simpson, Barren, Allen and Hart counties.

In all of these counties combined, 114 individuals have recovered.
