Convention & Visitors Bureau names new communications director

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau has named Nora Bryant as its new communications director. Bryant’s tourism career comes full circle as she previously interned at the local visitors bureau in 2015.
Bryant looks forward to promoting and marketing Bowling Green and Warren County as a travel destination.
She discovered her love for local tourism while interning at the Kentucky Department of Travel and the Bowling Green Area Convention and Visitors Bureau during her last semesters of college. Her internship experience led her to the Lexington Convention & Visitors Bureau where she served on the marketing team from 2016-2020 promoting Lexington to domestic and international travelers.
“There is nothing more rewarding than showing off your community to visitors,” Bryant said. “Bowling Green has so much momentum and creativity – I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with our locals to help showcase all we have to offer.”
Originally from Henderson, Ky., Bryant graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2015 with a degree in Public Relations. She lives in Bowling Green with her husband, Tevin Bryant-Barksdale and their daughter, Ava.
