Convenience store Wawa to add location in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Wawa now has a site under contract in Warren County.
The convenience store is expanding to Kentucky with plans to open 40 stores in the next eight to 10 years.
Normally, you may know the store from road trips, or, if you’re from out of town, even your former home.
The company announced it has 15 total sites already under contract, including not only Warren, but also Boone, Bullitt, Fayette, Hardin, Jefferson, Jessamine, Oldham, Scott and Shelby counties.
However, it may be a little while before you can get your hands on those Wawa convenience store snacks.
The first stores are projected to open in mid-2025.
Wawa expects to create 1,400 new jobs as a result of the overall expansion.
