Supplies needed for shelter at Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Since 1980, Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that supports those affected by domestic violence and their children.

BRASS’s services include permanent housing, emergency shelters, a food pantry, children services, financial assistance, crisis intervention etc. for Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren counties.

On May 16, BRASS announced on Facebook that they have run out of toothpaste and hair conditioner at the emergency shelter. BRASS is asking the local community for donations to help.

Other needs for this agency are used or unused phones, personal care items, paper products, household items or diapers.
