Conference USA Still Planning on Football Season this Fall

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Conference USA will continue with its original plan to play college football this fall, according to Stadium Insider Brett McMurphy.

The news comes just a few hours after Conference USA member Old Dominion announced the cancellation of all fall sports, including football, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Western Kentucky was scheduled to host ODU for the Hilltoppers’ Homecoming game on October 31st, but will now begin searching for an opponent to replace the Monarchs.

Tyson Helton and the ‘Tops open their 2020 campaign on the road at Louisville on September 12th.
