Conference USA Announces updates to College Football Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Conference USA will keep their 8-game conference schedule and allow schools to play as many non-conference games as they desire, according to a report from Stadium.com College Football analyst Brett McMurphy.

This news comes after the ACC and SEC announced adjustments to their college football schedule on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers’ September 12th matchup at Indiana has been cancelled, due to the Big 10’s decision to move to a conference-only schedule. In addition, the ‘Tops September 26th game at in-state rival Louisville is in question after the ACC announced a new model that features 10 conference games and one non-conference game of each school’s choosing.
