Concerts in the Park kicks off 2024 series

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 2024 season of Concerts in the Park kicked off Friday at Circus Square Park.

Despite the heatwave we’ve seen recently, loads of people showed up to hear the Sidewinders take the stage as the first act of the season.

We spoke to one local resident, who mentioned the concerts are a way for everyone to come together, enjoy some music, and spend time with loved ones.

“There are people here all over… people sitting right next to us have been married for a month. My wife and I will be married 45 years in a week… so that’s a contrast right there. We have people from all over town, and it’s such a wonderful place to come and enjoy,” Chris Thorn says.

June 28th, the Ernie Small Blues Band will take the stage at Circus Square.
