Concerts in the Park is back this Friday
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Since 1979, a free weekly music series will return for the benefit of the community.
Concerts in the Park will be held every Friday, beginning on June 21 through September 13. Due to the success of the 2023 season, the Downtown Redevelopment Authority will add a bonus night to the line-up.
Visitors from southern Kentucky and the surrounding area are invited to attend Flora Templeton Stuart Concerts in the Park. The community-building events are suitable for families.
Food by vendors will open at 6 p.m., and music will start at 7 p.m. Circus Square Park at 601 State St. will hold each concert for the next 13 weeks, weather permitting.
The schedule for Concerts in the Park 2024 includes the following:
- June 21: The Sidewinders
- June 28: Ernie Small Blues Band
- July 5: Frequency
- July 12: C-Dock Boyz
- July 19: Bueler’s Day Off
- July 26: Van Winkle & The Spirits
- Aug. 2: Sheila Lawrence
- Aug. 9: Dizzorderly Conduct
- Aug. 16: Fat Box
- Aug. 23: Andy and the Rockers
- Aug. 30: Trevor Martin
- Sept. 6: Bad Navigator
- Sept. 13: Tyrone Dunn & Kin-Foke
