Complaint leads to arrest, charges for one; second suspect wanted

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – The Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman Monday after they said they found a large amount of illegal drugs and paraphernalia during a search.

An Edmonson County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a social services complaint Monday in the 100 block of Bluebird Road. There they found Tasha Brooks, 33, Eric Green and a juvenile, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

Based on findings from the complaint, a probable cause search warrant was conducted of the residence. Deputies said they found a large amount of suspected marijuana, suspected methamphetamine and various forms of drug paraphernalia. All items could be easily accessed by the juvenile.

Brooks was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense,(methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in marijuana eight ounces to less than five pounds and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Green fled the scene before being detained on two outstanding warrants out of Warren County, according to the release. This is an ongoing investigation with further charges pending on Green.
