Community Partners for Recovery opens first office in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – In Barren County, Community Partners for Recovery held a ribbon-cutting for its first office, aimed at fighting addiction locally.

Founders Libby Short, Christie Wall and A.K. Murray have each been impacted by addiction in different ways and want to help others with similar experiences.

The group launched last year and takes a local approach to combatting substance abuse.

Libby Short, founder of Community Partners for Recovery, says, “But we could not be here. We would not have this door open if it was not for the incredible community that we have in Glasgow. And bearing County. So when I say that, we say this building is where recovery meets community.”

CPR will continue to help those in need with numerous resources and support as they try to combat and reduce the stigma of addiction.
