Community Action hosts 60-year celebration in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky.- Community Action of Southern Kentucky is celebrating 60 years of impactful service by investing in its employees, who come from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

The organization recognizes the importance of supporting those who work tirelessly to connect the community with vital resources. Dozens of workers gathered from across Kentucky to be informed and encouraged about the work being done and the critical role of valuing those who provide these services.

Mario Radford, author and pastor of Growth Point Church, shared his perspective, emphasizing the need to remind employees that their contributions and messages matter, not just their work.

He described this moment as a “personal revival,” where individuals needed to feel valued and recognized for their efforts. Community Action’s commitment to fostering courageous conversations is central to its mission. By supporting those who pour into both youth and adults, the organization strengthens the fabric of the community.

As it looks to the future, Community Action will continue its work, ensuring that those who provide care and resources are both appreciated and empowered.
