Community Action holds Chili Cook-Off fundraiser

BOWLING GREEN, KY. – The community gathered for a heated competition to support family education and health services in South Central Kentucky.

Community Action of Southern Kentucky, a non-profit, hosted its chili cook-off fundraiser at First Baptist Church in Bowling Green on Friday.

The cook-off featured celebrity chefs from local businesses and organizations competing for chili bragging rights.

Celebrity judges and those in attendance voted for their favorites to decide the winners in four categories.

Proceeds from the cook-off provide supplemental funds, allowing Community Action to provide vital community services, including child and family education and health services.
